Subject: Useful for training today
This is a rare government CD film that advocates and demonstrates the construction of expedient shelters. And gives realistic acceptable exposure rates.
Also it shows an expedient method of decontamination using a vacuum cleaner to rid hair and clothes of fallout particles, instead of showers that may not be available.
Current acceptable exposure rates are in the milirads which are too low. 58, 62 and 90 rads are shown as acceptable doses under attack conditions. This is still an excellent film for first responders, emergency managers and military.
